The padel courts are located next to Surrey Quays Shopping Centre

Fancy trying a new sport this summer? Our brand new padel courts are now open next to Corner Corner and Surrey Quays Shopping Centre.

The worldwide phenomenon of Padel is a fast-growing racket sport with similarities to both squash and tennis. It’s played with solid bats, usually as a doubles game – so grab three of your friends and head down!

The easy-to-learn but increasingly popular sport requires only simple equipment: bring your trainers, and rackets and balls are available to hire as part of your booking.

There are four courts at Canada Water operated by Instant Padel, who manage courts across London and the south. Anyone can book and play, and they’re open from 7am – 10pm on weekdays and 7am – 7pm at weekends.

The courts are the latest addition to the growing fitness and wellbeing offer here at Canada Water. With the new Canada Water Leisure Centre soon to open, venues for everything from climbing to kayaking and various local organisations we’re partnered with running cricket, boxing, football, over-60s keep fit and more, there’s a way to get active for everyone.

Our 5k running route is also a great way to get some exercise while touring the development’s green and blue spaces. And to support you in your post-exercise recovery, bodytonic clinic is here to help get you back to full fitness.
