The UK’s largest urban winery is now open at Canada Water’s Dock Shed.
The new venue from Vagabond offers visitors the chance to enjoy over 100 different wines by the glass from the brand’s signature tap-and-pour machines, offering the chance to see, smell, taste, and enjoy wine at every stage of its journey.
The 6,000 sq ft space features a fully operational 100-tonne winery led by head winemaker José Quintana, alongside event and tasting spaces for up to 300 visitors each day. Spaces are available to hire for private fondue feasts, wine tastings and parties.

The new venue is the latest addition to the growing leisure offer around Canada Dock, following the revitalisation of the dock as a place for people to get close to nature and the opening of entertainment venue Corner Corner earlier in the year.
Christobell Giles, Managing Director of Vagabond Wines, said: “This is where London meets the vineyard. We’ve brought winemaking back to the water and built a space that connects people to the stories, craft and community behind every bottle.”
Alice Keown, Leasing Director, Restaurants and Leisure at British Land, added: “Vagabond’s urban winery is a flagship part of our vision for Canada Water as a vibrant cultural and experiential destination. It brings production, hospitality and innovation together under one roof, celebrating London’s heritage while shaping its future.”
