Every Friday, the floating stage welcomes Steam Down Presents, bringing a different guest artist to the stage each week for an ever-evolving live music experience.

Born in South East London, Steam Down is an Afro-Punk band, live music ritual and cultural movement rooted in improvisation, community and the Sounds of the Diaspora. Blending jazz, grime, afrobeat, funk and electronic music, every performance is shaped by the musicians, the moment and the energy of the audience.

At the heart of Steam Down is Sounds of the Diaspora – an immersive live experience where musicians and audiences come together to co-create in real time. No two performances are ever the same, with special guest vocalists and artists joining the collective each week for a spontaneous sonic journey.

More than a gig, Steam Down Presents creates a space for deep listening, expression and connection, where the boundaries between performer and audience dissolve, and live music becomes a shared experience.

Wherever it lands, Steam Down invites people into an immersive experience of sound, spirit, and community – rooted in the diaspora, and open to all.
